Confessions of a Working Mom – March 2012
Confessions of a mom, entrepreneur, photographer, and writer juggling work, life and family. It feels like eternity since the last time I posted one of my confessional posts. It seems like forever since I’ve been posting consistently. But I’m working on it. For the past several weeks I’ve been glued to creative live, soaking up e-books and pretty all things that have to do with photography. Watching Sue Bryce and Sandy Puc’s creative live seminars has me thinking in an entirely different direction with some new creative energy. While my writer’s blog still seems to be lingering around, my photography – um – mojo (for lack of better word) has expanded or blossomed or something. See what I mean about the writer’s block.
What I was realized was just like the picture below I have been out of focus and my creativity energy was gone, drawn out of me like venom from a snake bite.
But slowly the fog (or venom) is starting to evaporate. I’m doing more things that I love and enjoy and I’m even finding a few minutes to jump in front of the camera (something I hate, did I mention that?).
Another thing I hate are those Chuck E Cheese “mom” radio commercials. Have you heard them? What are your thoughts? If you haven’t here’s one http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ui-NW0B8PSE.
