That’s an awesome idea! It seems kinda cruel to build yourself a fortress just to get away from the kids though. If there was food on the table I’d be more understanding – my daughter eats everything she can reach so I guess I might need to use this sometimes.

My youngest son has made me very creative in ways of childproofing. He discovers a new disaster waiting to happen all the time. I ended up having to remove all movable chairs and bar stools during his awake hours.. Nothing I can do about him trying to head dive off the back of the couch constantly, although I have put bean bags in his usual landing spots.
That looks like fun to me.
