the princess and the park

This weekend we took Princess Bizzie and Bizzie Boy to Disneyland since my parents where in town. My PB absolutely fell in love with the place. BB is still a bit young to enjoy the magic that is Disneyland so he spent most of the day relaxing in the stroller.

But Princess Bizzie was exactly the right age to have some serious fun. We took her on several of the rides, even Finding Nemo which was much more entertaining than I anticipated it would be. Standing in the 1 hour 50 min line had more of a payoff then I imagined. She rode the Dumbo ride with me and Bizzie Daddy got lucky and road the Teacups with her. I’m not a big fan of the spinning rides. I’m getting a headache just thinking about the spinning.

Anyway, Princess Bizzie loved everything she loved the parade, the fireworks, most of the rides, the food (yes I said food, the pizza next to Space Mountain is actually pretty good) and all the other Disney surprises.

I hesitated about taking her to see the princesses at first, the line was a little long but it was all worth it when we saw her face light up as she saw her three favorite princesses. She saw Ariel, Belle and Jasmine and she was in complete awe. Belle talked to her for what seemed like forever as they were beginning to hold up the line. She still won’t tell me what they talked about.

Anyway our trip turned out great, minus a couple of guest encounters. Oh and for those who haven’t been to Disnelyland in ages, they have new strollers which look much better and more comfortable then the previous blue ones. They are Baby Jogger jogging strollers. I didn’t see any doubles though.

We are taking a trip to Disney next Fall. I can’t wait. I have a 7 and 13 year old. We have taken the older child. My youngest is just about tall enough to ride most rides. We can’t wait.

I bet you had a blast.

I don’t think I ever said thank you for coming over to my blog and leaving comments. I finally went back and wrote a comment in my comments to thank you. Life is really busy. I read all my comments. I just sometimes delayed in responding.

We can’t wait to take our little one too to Disney but that’s not happening until she’s at least five or six. So we have a long wait.

I’m sure Princess Bizzie had a blast.

Oh, I totally miss being a 25 minute jaunt to Disneyland! We used to go 3-6 times a year and now we’re lucky to make it out there once a year. So sad! You’ve inspired me to put it back on our calendar though…we’ll just have to figure out a way!

We took our three in January and it was so much better than I thought. The princess lunch was truly magical and I’m a very cynical sarcastic person typically. (I took my own double jogger and that was wonderful!)

I can’t wait until the day we take my son to Disney. He will love it! We were all set to go last year until we had a baby. That put the trip off but I am hoping this sping…

Mine are 1 and 3 so we probably have a few years to wait. I was thinking of a Disney cruise instead of Disneyland, anyone have any thoughts. Are the crowds of Disneyland worth it.
