the princess and the bear

Happy Halloween! I hope everyone had a safe and great Halloween this year. This year Bizzie Princess totally understood the concept of Halloween this year and of course the candy giving. She had an entire Elmo head full of candy by the time the night was through, which mom and dad will be going through tonight to pick out the stuff she shouldn’t have. I love that she got some non-traditional trick or treat items, like pretzels and even some little toys.

Costume buying was a bit of a challenge this year, being that she is heavy into the Princess stuff. She had a Cinderella dress and we bought her a Belle costume and Ariel costume from the Disney Store both were 50% off so that really great. Then of course the next day she decided she wanted to be a Pumpkin, but not just any Pumpkin a Princess Pumpkin.

Luckily she forgot about being a Pumpkin Princess and decided to wear her Belle costume to school for the party. It’s always good to have more then one costume because 3 year olds can by messy.

I missed the kids school party this year, but we did take them out to a Halloween Festival at a near by church. We attended last year and it was an easy and safe way to get some Halloween candy and fun too. They had bouncers, games, popcorn, hot dogs and even a professional photographer on deck. We even ran into an old friend of ours from college, who has four kids, I don’t know how they do it in LA. I know I couldn’t.

I was reading Renee’s Cutie Booty Cakes blog and realized that our boys were twins this Halloween. Check out Bizzie Boy in his bear costume. I have to say it was absolutely hilarious watching his little bear’s butt wiggle as he walked down the halls.

Watch it wiggle, see it jiggle!

I didn’t want to get him one of those cute cuddly costumes at first but when I saw the bear one I couldn’t resist. Plus it was 65% off at Children’s Place.

And of course we can’t forget about Bizzie Princess.

After the Halloween Festival we stopped by our baby sitter’s house to say Happy Birthday to her. The kids haven’t seen her in months so it was nice for both of them. She moved to Santa Barbara, so she doesn’t babysit for us anymore.

Then it was back home for us, the kids crashed hard once we got home and I spent the night well sleeping. The next morning Bizzie Princess woke up wanting to wear her Cinderella costume, then her Little Mermaid costume.

Oh my goodness. Your little ones are so cute! And yes our boys could be twins. That would have been so adorable! My mom is responsible for his costume, she loves dressing him up for Halloween.
