the baby borrower’s rundown, episode three

Preface: I didn’t skip episode two it ran last week and in case you missed you it ran again this week.

This week’s episode the teens are challenged to care for those crazy, funny, unpredictable toddlers. I know exactly what these teens are going through because I have my very own three year old diva.
So here’s a quick rundown on how the teens did this week with the toddlers.

Kelsey & Sean
To everyone’s surprise Sean and Kelsey’s new toddler is actually the older brother of the baby they watched last week. I guess the parent’s weren’t so freaked that Kelsey was scared of watching the baby. Luckily Kelsey did much better this week with the toddler, even though I think the parents booby trapped her with a toddler that is sort of “potty training”. I felt her pain having just gone through the potty training stage with my daughter. He didn’t seem really ready for the potty just yet, but Kelsey persevered and actually got him to use the little potty. Go Kelsey and congratulations for sticking with it.
Kelly & Austin
Kelly & Austin were blessed with twin boys this week. TWINS! These are some brave parents. This week Kelly decided she wanted to try her hands at working so she had Austin stay home with the kids, so he will understand what life is like as a SAHM. I have to say Austin did very well with the twins, using timeout’s effectively, talking with the boys and playing with them. You can tell he gets the “pick your battles” when the boys want to ring the doorbell as they go out of the house. Kelly first said no, but Austin let them.
Of course Kelly didn’t disappoint us with another one of her episodes. She and Austin get in an argument and she lives the house while Austin is in the shower. Oops what about the boys. The Nanny had to step in and take action and gave Austin a mouthful. When Kelly gets back home he tells her what happened and she tells him to get over it! It seems she doesn’t really care about how Austin feels at all.

Alicea & Cory
Alicea & Cory watch over a 3 year old boy. Alicea is able to bond with him very easily, he misses his mom and she sympathizes with him. Cory went to work while this week.

Jordan & Sasha
Jordan & Sasha had a bouncing baby boy this week who winds up being a handful. Neither of them seems to know how to handle his tirades. Jordan wants to quit. Sasha calls him a baby for acting up at the restaurant. We all know two year olds can be a handful. But this was is a bit too hard for these two to handle. Things only get worse when the boy’s mother verbally attacks both Sasha and Jordan. Sasha storms off in her own tirade and both mother and son are left alone in the house. Sasha is ready to leave the show, will she stay for the weeks to come.
Daton & Morgan
Daton & Morgan had two children on their hands a girl and a boy, and had to plan a birthday party for the younger of the two. They were smart enough to move the party out of the bee infested backyard but Morgan seemed to abuse the generosity of Kelly when she let them host the party at their house. The kids had a blast tearing up the place and the only one who didn’t seem like cleaning was Morgan. She even commented on how clean the place looked after the party. Wow. All in all this coupled faired pretty well with the two despite the episodes of peeing on the couch and not cleaning up poop correctly.

I wish all the couples luck with their pre-teens next week. My kids are still to young but I can only imagine the challenges they face.
