This week I received some great products to review, I received a steady flow of sells at my baby boutique, I received a really cool bag from flash bags (look for the review next week), and I met a bunch of new people on twitter. I had a great talk with Michele @ integratedmother.com. I was invited to contribute on a really cool community blog and have some other opportunities in the works. It’s been a good week.
That is not why I’m calling today Thankful Friday. As most of my twitter friends know my father was in a car accident during the week. Today is the first day I saw the pictures of his car. I mean sure he described the accident which was scary in itself. But seeing the actual images of the accident made it really hit home.
This week could have ended in a completely different way.
So today it’s Thankful Friday. I am thankful that my Dad was driving a Honda Accord with some amazing air bags that deployed right when they were needed. I am thankful he walked away from the accident without any injuries. I am thankful I have two healthy and happy children. I am thankful I have a supportive husband even though he sleeps in way too long and leaves the toilet seat up.
I’m so glad your dad is ok! That is definitely reason for a very Thankful Friday.
