For the past week I have been sneaking in sessions with a new book titled, Mommy Confidence: 8 Easy Steps to Reclaiming Balance and Motivation and you Inner Diva by Kimberley Clayton Blaine. I’ve been looking for a book that speaks about my current situation and this one really hits home, covering a lot of the issues I am insecure about as well as issues that I stress about.
It’s important to not judge ourselves as mothers and it’s also important that we maintain a sense of self and still follow our dreams and desires. I am guilty of “letting things” slide as I transitioned into my role as a mother and now I’m struggling to find my ground again. It’s great to find a book that touches on issues of body image, guilt and following your dreams.
If you are looking for a quick reading guide to give a little push in the right direction then I recommend reading Mommy Confidence. It’s helping me find my inner diva hopefully it will help you find yours!
