now might be the best time to start a new business

Did you know what Johnson & Johnson, Disney and Proctor & Gamble have in common? They are successful businesses that were started during a recession. So now might be the best time to start a new business. I read an article just last week about a couple who recently launched a baby furniture store after they both were laid off from their employers. They said the recession made it easier for them to negotiate rent prices and inventory. I myself launched my business during the start of recession.

So maybe during the NEXT recession, there will be an article about my company…  Did you know LaLa Baby, Disney, Proctor & Gamble were all business that were started during a recession!

Anyway I stumbled on Lisa’s blog on strollerstrides.com and she has a great article and quotes from some great entrepreneurs, so stop on by a read Starting  a Business During a Recession Can Reap Big Benefits for Moms.

I certainly believe that now is the time to start a business if you are going. Unfortunately people are hesitant and don’t really want to put in the work needed or they are looking for huge returns quickly and then get frustrated.
