When a Day Off Isn’t a Day Off
A school visit, family portrait session, dance class, shoe shopping and more
All in a day’s work for this mom. Today I decided to volunteer in my son’s classroom and I have to say I was totally impressed by how he handled the situation. He was so busy working it took him fifteen minutes to even notice I was there. When he finally did he came to say hello then quickly went back to work. I was so worried the situation was going to go a different way. Best of all before he fell asleep he said, “Thank you for coming to my class.”
Next up was a family portrait session. The weather was almost perfect and the sun was shining bright. This is the little girl I had the pleasure of photographing.
Of course shortly after the session was over the clouds came in helped filter out the sun.
The kids had a short day, so once I got them from the bus stop it was off to Miss M’s dance class. The day went on and on and I’m still going strong. Two more posts to write do I try and get through them or do I crawl into bed.
P.S. Secretly hoping the snow does actually come tomorrow it would make an awesome Day 12 picture!
