I’ve been a little photo obsessed lately and have been toting around my camera everywhere I go. To be honest I’m surprised I haven’t broken it because until recently I was shoving my camera in my purse. I hated carrying around a bulky camera bag and I dread having to carry more than one bag every day. I needed something that allowed me to not only store my camera safely but also allowed me to squeeze in a wallet and some baby necessities.
I’ve talked about several different DSLR camera bags on this site and I have to admit while I haven’t tried them all, they are all great in the right situation. I was given the opportunity to try out the brown Kelly Moore’s DSLR camera bag and I love it. I can see using this bag during a session and I can take it to work with me daily. I love that it doesn’t look like a camera bag. I can easily store my camera, an extra lens, my Nook reader and my purse essentials (wallet, keys, iPhone, and makeup) in the bag. I removed one of the panels and placed my camera in the middle of the bag with the lens facing up.
Kelly Moore has just recently introduced a few more bags into her collection. Be sure to check out the B-Hobo DSLR camera bag and the Kelly Boy DSLR camera bag both will be available in June. I’ve already added the B-Hobo Bag to my wish list!

Conclusion
The Kelly Moore camera bag is made with high quality polyurethane, no it’s not leather but it feels like it could be. The build of the bag is great and I didn’t notice any flaws. I’m 5’2″ and the bag didn’t feel “big” on me. In fact it wasn’t heavy to carry at all, though I imagine it can be depending on what you carry. For me the bag is most comfortable wearing across the shoulders. The top snap closure makes it easy to swap lenses in the middle of a session. You can slip your phone and keys in the outer side pockets and pull them out with ease. If you are looking for a “purse” bag then I would also look at her new B-Hobo bag.
What the camera bag can carry…
1 camera body; 1 flash; 2-4 lenses (depending on if you stack them); off camera cords, camera batteries, phone; keys; wallet; double AA’s. The Kelly Moore Bag is designed to carry an 8″ lens in length and still have room for various cords and accessories.
