it’s chrome for your ipad!

I love the Chrome browser and will freely admit that Internet Explorer is rarely opened on my computer and even those occasional moments when it’s accidentally clicked on. I will immediately shut it down and opt for chrome of Firefox. Even after Explorer added the fancy tabs and other upgrades I just couldn’t go back. You know the saying, “Once you go chrome you can’t go back.”

Okay sorry I was dying to get that out.

So what’s all this chrome business about, well GUESS WHAT? You can now browse with chrome (or “chrome” like) browser on your iPad. How cool is that?
Diigo recently released iChromy the next-best-thing to chrome for your iPad and it comes with some great cool features.

Tabs on Top
Of course this was a given. Who doesn’t have more than one page open at a time? Facebook is always up on my laptop and my iPad.

Extra Space for Content
The address bar will be hidden automatically when you scroll down the page, so you will get extra screen space for content. To show the address bar, just tap the tab again.

Ominibox
Type search keywords or URL in one box

Open Link in New Tab
Press down on a link for a few seconds and you get a list of opening options: Add to Reading list, Open, Open in Tab, Open in Background Tab.

Offline Reading List
one-click to save a page to the Offline Reading List a great way to read pages later even when you are not online.

Share To Social Sites
Share a page to Facebook, Twitter, Tumblr, Diigo, Instapaper and many more with a simple click.

iChromy is a fast and efficient browser and diffently worth a download, oh yeah and did I mention it’s a Free Download.

Download the Chrome browser for your iPad iChromy.
