I have to admit I’ve had this application on my phone for some time, and it was on my review “to-do” list just waiting to be reviewed. Last Friday was the first time I had to use it. I was in Target when my husband called about a situation with Bizzie Princess. He wanted to know if we should go to the doctor and more importantly if it was a serious problem that we would need to be concerned about. The first thing I did, okay the 2nd. The 1st thing I did was turn my shopping cart around and head to the checkout counter.
But the 2nd thing I did was pull up the Merck Manual Home Edition App on my iPhone. This time I had a real reason to check out this application, it’s a pretty awesome medical resource to have. You have the ability to browse by category, explore the index, or search under Emergencies and Injuries. The allergic reaction section reminds me that I need to get an emergency epinephrine syringe for Bizzie Boy for those just in case situations.
Luckily our situation with Bizzie Princess was nothing serious, but I will definitely be keeping this little app handy.
