Click the Settings icon on your home screen, or find it in your list of apps. To pop open the list of apps, push the button that looks like a grid of dots or a grid of squares. It’s usually at the bottom of the screen and in the middle.

Scroll down to “About phone” and push it. This should be right at the bottom of the list.

Scroll down to “Android version.”
The little numbers underneath are the version of Android on your phone.  As you can see in the image above, my phone is version 2.3.1.
