Her name is Lola, she is a camera bag

Okay enough of that. Last week, or maybe the week before, I announced on Wordless Wednesday that I had a received a box…
Well now for the big reveal. Drum roll…
It’s Lola! She’s a brand new and oh so stylish Epiphanie Camera Bag. I have had my eye on one of these bags since last year, right when Maile starting teasing us about them. Oh how I needed Lola in my life. I loath camera bags and have been stuffing my camera in my purse for over a year now.

My first impression:
I was immediately impressed with the craftsmanship of this bag, even though its not “real” leather it appears to be just as strong. I love the detailing of the knots in the handle and that extra padding in the shoulder strap.
While I think Lola is the smallest of the bags it is still roomy enough to store my canon XS with 30mm lens attached, 50mm, lightscoop, flip camera, charger, another lens (I don’t have one but if I did it would fit). Plus space to include my wallet and some key essentials.
There are two exterior pockets which are perfect for keys, mobile phone or a small notepad. Inside you will see a smaller zippered pocket where you can put all your important information. There are two arm straps and a removable shoulder strap. I have yet to use the shoulder strap, because I prefer the two arm straps instead.
The bag comes with padded Velcro panels that you can adjust to your liking plus a padded bottom.
Lola has been hanging out with me for the last couple of weeks and I have received many compliments on the bag. Most people can’t even believe it’s a camera bag!
One of the things I noticed instantly was that the bag didn’t feel heavy on my shoulder.

What I would like to see:
So far my only complaint, or wish,o add little feet at the bottom of the bag so it doesn’t have to touch the ground, that or a leather bottom.

I must say that this bag is oh so cute! I never thought about photography until reading your blogs and your passion for it is contagious. Yesterday I took a well needed day off and me and the family went to the park and chipped away at some golf clubs. I took some what would be great shots if I had something other than a cell phone. Now I’m eager to get myself a real camera for these wonderful occasions. I don’t plan on being a photographer but it would be nice to have some quality pictures of these family moments that we are sharing.

I think I like the Belle bag the most! I just bought my first DSLR for Christmas and I have been looking everywhere for a stylish yet, organized bag. There are just not enough women’s camera bags out there!
I want that bag. That is gorgeous! I have a digital SLR and the bag my sister got me for Christmas is really too small, not to mention it looks just like a camera bag. But that one… excellent.
Good gosh what I wouldn’t do for that bag. My heart actually skipped a beat when I saw her. She is BANGING, and I need her in my life!

I really want this bag, but I don’t like red so much, is this bag really as bright (red) as it looks. Im hoping for more of a maroon color or so, but not black or bright red…what do you think, is this color too bright?

The top picture is probably the best in regards to “actual” color. But it is Red no where near maroon. I never had a red bag either I always went for black or brown which makes this bag so much more fun.
FYI – It does come in black now.
