A few weeks ago, I stumbled across a giveaway hosted by Dear Crissy for the Black Rapid camera strap, the same one I was eyeballing months ago. So I entered the giveaway just to see what would happen.
In the meantime I made contact with the company and received a strap for myself to review, which you can read now.
Then I found out I actually won the giveaway, hosted by Crissy, and I never WIN anything. Since I don’t really need two camera straps I decided to offer the other as a giveaway on BizzieMommy.com.

I would love this strap! It would make shooting so cool! I can free my hands to take care of the little one that I shoot!
I want this strap! I was eyeballing this in one of those Rangefinder magazines recently on someone and it looked SO COOL and CONVENIENT! I would love to carry my camera (upgrade coming really soon) on this strap, while keeping it close to me. I hate the neck strap for all the reasons you mentioned in your article. I take it off, put it on, etc. Drives me nuts! Pick me..pick me…pick me…
Cool strap. It looks nice and sturdy. That would work great with my Canon T1i.
I would love to win this BlackRapid RS-W1 Camera Strap because my standard-issued neck strap drives me crazy. I have neck issues and the weight of the camera around my neck only makes my neck hurt more. Thanks for the great giveaway!
I have been wanting one of these for a while now! I want to win it because it would be SO useful! I usually just wrap my camera strap around my wrist and hold my camera, because I hate the way the camera weight pulls my neck down when I wear it on my neck. But I would feel so much more comfortable with it slung across my body! Thanks for the opportunity!

This would be so cool because my wife and I could both use the strap. I just started a photography business and take my camera everywhere and the Canon strap just doesn’t cut it for fast shooting.

I’ve been wanting to try a Black Rapid strap for quite a while now. When I use a traditional camera neck strap my neck hurts. If I use it cross body I can never quite get the camera up for shots well. So I end up with it over one shoulder and the have to essential hold the camera in one hand to protect in from banging into things. Would love to be able to safely leave my camera at my hip and still be able to get it in my hands easily for a shot.
I’ve been coveting the woman’s black rapid strap for quite some time, but being in NZ and having our dollar lag well behind the US means it’s out of my budget. What I wouldn’t give for a strap that is made to fit my body, something normal camera straps don’t do when you’ve got boobs. Also, having a camera hang in front, means you need at least one hand on it as it bounces as I walk.

I seriously need this camera strap! Pick me! My poor daughter is constantly getting bopped on the head with my camera, I wind-up with friction burns around my neck every time I use my existing camera strap, and seriously the Canon one is ho-hum when it comes to style. Pick me! Pick me!

I’ve seen a guy running in the park and jumping over fences while having his camera on his shoulder hanging on this strap. I don’t intend to do exactly that, but I am always looking for anything that can add degrees of liberty to my movement while taking photos.
I’ll keep my fingers crossed for the draw.

I would love this strap because I currently use my strap and a climbing camera bag to carry the weight of my camera when I am not shooting but wearing it. It is cumbersome when I am moving at events in tight quarters.
