The first step in getting help is admitting you have a problem, right?
Well, here I am ADMITTING to you I HAVE A PROBLEM. My office sits in the corner of the kitchen jam packed with papers, boxes and toys. My house in general is overstuffed with kid’s toys my children never seem to want to play with and clothes they have outgrown. Then to top if off we moved from a 2,000 square foot house in Las Vegas to a small condo in LA, which was just fine at the time, there was only two of us. Fast forward through the last four years and two kids later we are now living in an organized chaos.
Coming home everyday is more stressful than working my 40 hour shift at work. My husband and I have a lot going on. I have on online store, a full-time job and my blog to manage and my husband has his real estate business and his own online store to manage as well as the regular household to maintain. To say we have a PAPER problem would be putting it mildly.
So when I was offered to Sneak Peak Peter Walsh’s [IN]PLACE SYSTEM, I was excited to give it at try. If you don’t know who Peter Walsh is then you are missing out on a talented organizational guru. He is the host of Clean Sweep on TLC, I wish they would come to my house. He is also a regular guest on the Oprah show and an author of five books.
So what is the [IN]PLACE SYSTEM?
It’s an organization kit that provides the essentials needed to help better manage files, reduce clutter and increase productivity. The system is versatile enough to use by itself or in conjunction with other pieces of the [IN]Place system to take your organized world to the next level.
The key things I love most about the system is that they file folders are clear and made with a poly material making them durable and REUSABLE. I can’t tell you how many file folders I have been through in the last decade. I am guilty of flipping the file folder every which way to make use of it again. The [IN]PLACE team added CLIPS to the file folders so you NEVER have to worry about your papers falling out.
Everything in the system works together. The file folders fit inside the document folders and you can even put them in the hanging file racks. How many times have you bought different pieces only to find that nothing fits nice and neatly inside?
I love that the hanging files lock together so you no longer have to worry about that REALLY important bill that gets pushed in between and underneath everything, never to be seen again. That is until your water stops working.
The best part of the entire system is that it doesn’t affect the décor of your room. Since everything is made with a clear poly or plastic you never have to worry about it matching or not matching the decor. Which works great for us since my office shares the same space as the kitchen and consequently can be seen from the family room couch. Who wants to see a bright pink file folder calling their name during LOST.
Oh and I LOVE the erasable pen that comes with the system allowing you to WRITE right on the folders. I’ve done this so many times rendering the folder useless to use for a new project.
So it’s obvious that I like the system. Now let me show you why you will fall in love with the [IN]Place system too.
Durable File Folders work with the Post-it Super Sticky Notes for color coding. The Binder Clips attach to the file folders and hold documents securely in place.

The specially made Post-it Super Sticky Notes are designed to be used with all [IN]Place System components, offer flexibility as your projects change over time, and allow you to reuse products again and again.
The File Tote allows you to take project files on the go. You can store system components in the [IN]Place system File tote and be out the door in minutes.

The [IN]Place System will help you put and end to workplace clutter. Thank you Office Max for letting me preview the [IN]Place system and a special thank you to Peter Walsh and Julie Krueger.
You will be able to find the [IN]Place System at Office Max soon.
A special note for Peter Walsh, if you are looking for another “test subject” on any of your organizational projects or books, I’m your girl! I need all the help I can get.
No such thing as later

Wow, this looks cool. Aesthetic and functional! I sure could have used one or three back in my college days – I always had trouble keeping my notes in order…
Now I barely have paper documents around me – I work using my laptop. But … that hasn’t stopped me from making a mess too! My desktop is so cluttered you wouldn’t believe
Yes, I have a problem. There. 1st step done.
VERY COOL!! i so need this!
