e-book review: 50 seo secrets for mom entrepreneurs

I think by now everyone has heard how IMPORTANT search engine optimization is in achieving success online, whether you own a blog, an online store, or a social network, people need to be able to find your site. And that is exactly what SEO is all about.

When we lived in Las Vegas we had one of our LA friends come into town. I asked her if she wanted directions and she said NOPE I have my GPS!  Hours later she called completely lost, turns out she was on the other side of town and the GPS didn’t have our address. By the way we laughed at her for hours about her spectacular GPS system.

So when you build a website it’s not in the “GPS” system of search engines so nobody is going to be able to find it. Search engine optimization helps put your website on the map.

That being said there are a zillion companies that offer search engine optimization services that can be really cheap to outrageously expensive. And there can be legit companies and ones that use black hat techniques that can get your site black listed from search engines. Through my own experience we paid someone to do the SEO for my website.

More money than I should have.

So I was excited when Holly Klaasen contacted me and asked if I would be interested in reviewing her new e-book 50 SEO Secrets for Mom Entrepreneurs.

My husband has been working on the SEO for LaLa Baby Boutique and he’s been able to get the site on the first page of search engines for our target keywords. I showed him 50 Secrets for Mom Entrepreneurs and he found a few tips that he didn’t think of.

I’m starting to implement a lot of the suggestions in the book my own blog and I’m excited to check out the results as the months pass. I recommend, 50 SEO Secrets for Mom Entrepreneurs to moms that are hands on with their businesses.
