Of course they would have an app for it! OnSoftware created the DSLR Camera Remote so you can control your Canon or Nikon DSLR with your iPhone or iPod. While this isn’t a DSLR everyone still needs a little point and shoot to tote around in their bag.

I have to admit I was ready to start saving up for the Canon 50D to upgrade my current XS, I figured who needs video on a DSLR? This is a great collection, although I do have to say I prefer the Rayflash Ring Flash over the Orbis. It fits on your lens while it’s mounted and lives around your lens. The Orbis you have to hand hold but you do get “off camera” lighting so I guess it’s a matter of preference really.

Very nice guide. I think the Gorilla Pod is also something that could be added to the list, for those of us who like to take photos at interesting/weird/distant angles.

I have been into photography since the age of 12 when my Dad handed me an old box camera…always did landscape shots, but now that I’m the grandmother of 2 precious girls, I can’t take enough pictures of them!
